Amy Zaremba
Amy was born and raised in Wisconsin and grew up exploring the lakes and forests of the Northwoods. She now calls Madison home, where she lives with her husband, Steve, their daughter, Josie, and dog, Lola. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2005), as well as a J.D. from DePaul College of Law (2009). She is the owner and creative force behind Zaremba Art, LLC, where she specializes in murals, acrylic painting, and custom signage.
From 2017 to 2022, Amy played a key role in the Madison non-profit DAMA, serving as a mural designer, lead artist, and grant writer. During this time, she helped bring numerous community art projects to life, further deepening her commitment to the transformative power of public art.
Amy’s path to becoming a mural artist began with a bold shift from a traditional career to a life centered on creativity and community. Storytelling lies at the heart of her work—each piece an exploration of place, memory, and the quiet beauty found in everyday life.
Whether it’s the shimmer of light on a lake, the strength of a towering pine, or the spark of human connection abstracted, Amy’s art invites viewers to pause and see the world with renewed appreciation.
Her murals vary widely in theme and technique but share a common intention: to brighten public spaces, spark reflection, and foster a sense of belonging. Some invite collective storytelling and celebrate shared histories, while others offer simple moments of joy and connection.
